About the Product
Mother-of-pearl powder is another term for nacre powder. It's derived
from the iridescent inner layer of a mollusk shell, known as nacre, the three
terms describe the same material.
Nacre is primarily composed of calcium carbonate (aragonite), conchiolin
and trace marine minerals.
Vegans: The nacre powder
itself is not suitable for vegans due to its animal origin. The capsule shell is made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), which is plant-derived and vegan-friendly.
Vegetarians: Generally considered acceptable for vegetarians who consume other animal by-products.
Pescatarians: Suitable for pescatarians.
Kosher: Naker is kosher-permissible. Nacre is derived from the oyster’s
shell, therefore, it falls outside the animal-based restrictions in kosher
dietary law. We’ve consulted with two rabbis, both of whom confirmed that
because nacre comes from the shell rather than the animal itself, it is
permissible under kosher law.
Yes, Naker is halal certified.
Naker is 100% pure mother-of-pearl from oyster shells. Oysters are molluscs, so do not take Naker if you have a mollusc or shellfish allergy.
Take as directed. We recommend two capsules daily as a guide, and advise not exceeding four capsules per day
